After being a fast pace industry for most of my 20 working years, I believe that my ideal job would be a lot slower pace and in a completely different industry. Schedules, budgets and deadlines are not very appealing. I’d want a career which I can have a flexible schedule so that I may be able to spend more time with my family which I feel I was deprived of while working as a Construction Manager. I’d also have to my own boss. This would give me the freedom and flexibility to run my business as I please. My salary would have t be around $150,000.00. Seems like a lot but I do have a couple of daughters who have already at the ages of 8 and 11 expressed their interests in having a higher education. Maybe I better shoot for $250,000.00. I’d also like to have the freedom of using my own creativity but also be able to call on other leaders in the industry for help and inspiration. The work I have chosen is not a computer based industry but they are used for bookkeeping, information and automation. I’m not an art student and really have no valid skills in this industry so I’m trying to word my blogs accordingly. Please be patient with me I’m really trying to do my best. Once I’ve concord this class to get my degree I’m sure it will make me a more well rounded student, businessman and all in all good person. 250 exactly!!!!
And what a great role model you are being to your girls, going back to school. :D I hope they follow their education further as well.
