My views on Helvetica are that I personally believe it a very good font if there is such a thing. To each their own I guess. For its purpose of being used for government and official signage I believe it’s perfect. It has very clean lines and it’s very clear in it’s presentation. I never knew there was this controversy over this. It’s almost comical but I guess I’d have a different opinion if I was a designer.
I didn’t have a favorite designer but I did enjoy all of their opinions especially Erik Speakerman and Mathew Carter. They were funny.

After I watched the video I can honestly say it opened up my mind and I start to be more aware of my surroundings especially when it came to signage. Now I do believe that the type of font makes a big difference to the message especially if you are trying to get a clear message across. You have to give it its prop’s for its survival as a font and not being able to be improved.
HAHa yes, I agree... After watching that movie i am also more arware of the typefaces around me.
